Let It Snow ❆

Merry Christmas you guys! I know I'm late with the greeting but I wish you were all happy

So how did you guys spend your Christmas? Well for me it was ironically unhealthy for the tone of this blog post. Because all I did was curl up, whine and dine. And I even listened to Taylor Swift's Back To December while the weather is so chilly and slightly gloomy. Omg, cutting the drama.

Moving on, I will try my best to stay cheery because I finished my said holiday read! ❅ ❅ For three days (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and the day after Christmas, perfect) while filling myself up with Coffee Jellies I have read Let It Snow. It was such a cute book. If cute was an appropriate adjective for a book, well, I think that's it. It was so light, hearty and cheesy. A compilation of 3 holiday romances written by 3 superb and best-selling teen authors namely John Green (The Fault In Our Stars), Maureen Johnson (13 Little Blue Envelopes) and Lauren Myracle (TTYL). Like if only it's possible to go back in time, at least 3 days before so you could all get a copy of this book and read it during Christmas proper it would be so apt. But then again, it's never too late because "Christmas is a state of mind." I do recommend everyone to read this especially the fans of these authors for this book sure doesn't want to be missed.

Maureen Johnson's story Jubilee Express was definitely a great head starter with a bang. From the funny characters, the unique plot, and its own ending,it was a catcher. Then I was so excited for John Green's A Cheertastic Christmas Miracle. And you know it is JG because of his trademark witty group of friends with their outrageous witty comebacks, (mis)adventures and that unravelling of a cheesy romance. The Patron Saint of Pigs by Lauren Myracle sure did gave the ending a sweet flourish like a cherry on top of a dessert that will paint a smile on your face.

These 3 writers with their own sense of style, wit, charisma, humor and perspectives in writing made an awesome prose of interconnected stories because of a snowstorm that will tug heart strings and turn cold holidays warmer. Reading the book makes you want to cuddle and snuggle more with a cup of hot choco whilst enjoying the sweet ride of every characters drama and romance.

Sparkling white snowdrifts, beautiful presents wrapped in ribbons, and multicolored lights glittering in the night through the falling snow. A Christmas Eve snowstorm transforms one small town into a romantic haven, the kind you see only in movies. Well, kinda. After all, a cold and wet hike from a stranded train through the middle of nowhere would not normally end with a delicious kiss from a charming stranger. And no one would think that a trip to the Waffle House through four feet of snow would lead to love with an old friend. Or that the way back to true love begins with a painfully early morning shift at Starbucks. Thanks to three of today’s bestselling teen authors—John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle—the magic of the holidays shines on these hilarious and charming interconnected tales of love, romance, and breathtaking kisses. This book also:

  • made me so dramatic because I related so much on Lauren Myracle's character Addie and her story (but unlike her she had a happily ever after, meh).
  • reminded me of my bucket-listic dream of being a barista. Oh my, please please. Coffee stories drive me nuts. I want to live in a cafe, say venti, smell coffee beans and cinnamon rolls, whip some whiptastic creams...
  • made me realize that (my life sucks) there are so many other things left to experience, people to meet, places to go and stories to make and share. I really wish I could live a life book worthy.
