Words

How could words be so beautiful. How could words hurt so much. How could someone write words like a kiss in the face, a whisper in the ear and a soft warm touch. How could someone say a word and split your world in two and crush your heart like a cat under a passing train. How could words lift you up in cloud nine. How could words despise you to the pits of Tartarus. How could words cradle in your mouth like sweet honey, like custard, like sugary butter. How could words come out wrong it tastes so bitter and acidic it hurts too much in the throat you couldn't stop from vomiting. How could words come out like a harmoniously arranged sonata. How could words come out like a shriek, so wrong, so loud, so shattering, so heart-breaking. How could words calm your inner demons. How could words release your inner demons at the same time. How could words light up your face like the sun or the moonlight in a dark sky. How could words tear your tear ducts apart until tears couldn't stop from bursting like a full dam. How could words depict a long lost love, a much- awaited vacation, a treasured friend. How could words convey unrequited love, betrayal and an ugly soul. How could a single word mean so much. How could a single word end a valuable life. How could words be a blessing. How could words be a bondage. How could words be a cure. How could words be a curse.
Sometimes, I find myself staring at the jumbled pieces of right and wrong. Sometimes... I couldn't differentiate one from the other. How could words......

  1. Indeed. Indeed, but this "... a cat under a passing train" made it.
